Do I have to be home to meet the driver?

You do not have to be home to meet the driver to pick up your laundry, but you will be responsible for the safety of your laundry. Feel free to leave your laundry on your porch, with a neighbor or door person, or anywhere else accessible to our driver. Please include this information in the “Special Instructions” on the app so our driver knows.

How do I know if my residential address is within your delivery zone?

The most convenient method to determine whether Drop and Dash services your address is by creating an account. Upon entering your address, you will receive a notification regarding the availability of our services for your location. In the event that your address is not currently within our service area, you will be promptly informed of when our services are anticipated to reach your vicinity.

Is there a minimum order size for Wash & Fold?

Our minimum order for Wash & Fold is $38, exclusive of delivery fees.

What is the typical turnaround time?

Our laundry pick-up and delivery service turnaround time is 24-48 hours.

How to Place a Laundry or Dry Cleaning Pick-up and Delivery Order with Drop and Dash Laundry:
  • To place an order with Drop and Dash, download our app or click the place order button 
  • Create an account, or log in to your existing account. Please ensure to provide accurate information, as our team will be communicating with you via text and email.
    • Once your account is created, you will receive a text message and email with instructions for your first order
  • After creating an account, you will be asked to provide your pickup address 
  • Next, select between Laundry Service and/or Dry Cleaning
  • After choosing your service, you will be asked to add any custom instructions for picking up your order. Please provide any additional information such as “bag is next to the garage” or “bag is on the front porch.”
  • Now, select your order pickup and delivery dates, confirm payment, and review your order
What to expect for your first order: detailed instructions for your first laundry or dry cleaning order with Drop and Dash Laundry:
  • If this is your first laundry service order, there are a few things you need to know:
    • Please put your laundry in a trash bag and place it outside your door or in your preferred pickup location prior to your pickup window (you will receive a Drop and Dash laundry bag when your clean laundry is dropped off)
      • Your first laundry service order will be charged by the pound at $1.75/lb, with a minimum order of 22 lbs (around 2 loads of laundry)
    • If you have placed a dry cleaning order, please place your items in a separate bag from your laundry order
      • Your dry cleaning order will be charged on a per item basis (see price list here)
  • When your first order is returned to you, we will include our standard Drop and Dash Laundry bag. Our standard bag fits 22 lbs of laundry, so filling it up will ensure you always meet the minimum order size. If your first order exceeds 22 lbs, we will deliver our large laundry bag with your first order. Upon request, we will deliver both sized bags free of charge.
  • On all orders going forward, please place your laundry into your Drop and Dash Laundry bag. All subsequent orders will be charged per bag based on your bag size. Please see our pricing guide below. 
  • If you have placed a dry cleaning order, we will also provide you with our standard Drop and Dash Dry Cleaning bag. Please use this bag going forward for all dry clean orders.
Where can I schedule my first order?

Do I need to provide laundry bags or containers?

With your first order, you will be provided with one of our custom laundry wash and fold bags.  You just fill it with as much laundry as you have and we will take care of the rest.

What does "Wash & Fold" mean?

It means you never have to do laundry again! Our cleaners will take your laundry, wash & dry it at their facilities, and fold it for you before wrapping it in special packaging. No more waiting for your clothes at the Laundromat or that dank room in your apartment building. You can turn your laundry room into a home office!

What if my driver is late?

I missed my laundry pickup. Is there a way to reschedule the pick up and delivery service?

We understand that missed pickups can occur, and we empathize with your situation. However, it's essential to note that our drivers manage extensive routes, similar to the operations of UPS or FedEx, rather than the quick deliveries associated with pizza or ride-sharing services like Uber.

Our drivers have a systematic process in place to ensure smooth communication. They will initiate contact through our automated messaging system to inform you when they are en route. If, upon their arrival, they find no clothes left out, they will follow these steps:

  1. First, they will call you.
  2. If there's no response to the call, they will send a text message.
  3. Following the text message, they will make a second call from the same phone number.

If, even after these attempts, we are unable to reach you within 3-5 minutes, our drivers are instructed to continue with their route. In such cases, you will need to initiate a new order either through our app or by getting in touch with our customer support team.

How do the laundry bags work?

The bags we provide serve distinct purposes and allow you to manage both the treatment and pricing of your laundry order.

We offer two sizes of wash and fold bags. Any items placed in these bags undergo standard laundry treatment, which includes washing, drying, and folding.

These bags are designed for your everyday laundry, such as clothing, towels, sheets, linens, and other items that you would typically clean in a personal washer and dryer. By using these bags, you can ensure that these items receive the standard laundry service.

The use of different bags enables you to customize the level of service and pricing based on your specific laundry needs.

Can I get a replacement bag?

Yes! If you need a new laundry bag, one will be provided with your next order for $8. Feel free to specify in your order notes or ask your driver at pickup.
